Janine's Chocolate Cake

This cake was brought to me after the birth of the twins, and I had to have the recipe immediately. I have made it many, many times over the years.


Janine's Chocolate Bundt Cake

1 box Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake Mix
4 oz. instant chocolate pudding mix
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup water
1/2 oil
1/4 cup mayo
4 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips, divided
1 T vanilla
1/2 cup whipping cream

*Mix first 7 ingredients together for 4 minutes. Add 1 cup chocolate chips and stir lightly.
*Grease bundt pan and dust with cocoa. Pour mix into pan.
* Bake at 350 for 50-58 minutes
*Cool 10 minutes in pan, then empty to cake plate

Icing:
Heat 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream in microwave for 1 minute. Add 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 Tablespoon vanilla, stirring until chips are melted and smooth. Pour over cake.

I just pulled this cake out of the oven! It looks great. Will be taking it to our Wednesday night church supper tomorrow. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
